ONE INEVITABLE NEMESIS

Pain and regret exist in different aspects, and they have several ways to ruin you.
But there is one pain in life which supersedes all of them. It has no remedy or fix.

Here is my ordeal.

Diana was a beautiful and elegant young lady that was well known for her perfect attitude and stunning character.
The head chorister in our church and we happened to school together.
To crown it all, she was spirit-filled and walked in the way that was righteous. 

If it is beauty, God gave her that in loads upon loads. All my friends discouraged me from trying to get her as many men have fallen without succeeding.
But the hard ladies are usually my spec and I could not afford to let her slip out of my grip.

She was waiting for me at the closest sit out to our university.
I had to be quick because she was always punctual. I was surprised as she even accepted to see me in a place that was not the church.

Reaching the place on time, I saw her coming towards me wearing a long flowing gown which covered her entire body in a Deeper Life manner but her curves were still glowing in plain sight.

Everyone was staring as she walked majestically and offered me a handshake.
I was about to stand up and hug her but she refused and emphasized she goes for only handshakes.

I was mesmerized and speechless as I continued to gaze at how amazing she was structured. The first sentence that escaped my lips were, “You are so beautiful”.

She smiled and replied, “Thank you”.
For her to smile, it is a win-win situation for me.

I began to tease her on how her voice is so stunning and gets me tripping every single moment.
I even went ahead to say her singing brought me to Jesus. I asked about her family and how I could be a worker for Christ like her. 

The topic was so interesting that she was engaged in the discussion and told me she wants to know more about me.
We talked and I said if possibly I would do a duet with her because I did have some hidden talent too.

We talked and had some good laughs and exchanged contacts. 

I told her my Mum was one of the minsters in our church and she knew my Mum.

Another open avenue for me. We departed and decided to see in church next.

I went home, laid on my bed and smiled as I pictured my success. Finally with time, we would date and I would show her there is more to the world than singing hymns and quoting Bible verses.

Days turned to weeks and weeks to months.
Our friendship grew quite intimate, we saw in school, church, sit outs and any place available.

We began to let our secrets out and used each other as coping mechanisms for our rising issues and problems.

I began to like her deeply and feelings sprouted in ways I could not control. I felt peace around her and extreme happiness and wanted the feeling to last forever.
I just needed her to spend a night or two in my lodge so we could get pretty familiar.

So I told her to inform her parents that she wants to go studying for a day or two.

She finally agrees to come to my lodge and I had to ensure everywhere was clean. 

After all the persuasion, she did give in.
I waited till I heard a faint knock on my door, it must be her.

I rushed and opened the door and welcomed her inside. She gave me a nice hug and I could feel her perfume soothing my nostrils.
She entered and sat on my bed and suddenly her countenance changed. I noticed it and asked what was wrong.

Looking into my eyes, she told me that her parents will not let her spend the night at my place.
That she has never slept outside in her entire life despite her age and all her studying ends at home.
I was disappointed and speechless as I had planned for a lot to happen.


She rushed and held my face and told me to cheer up and let us make use of the time we have presently. As she spoke, I was filled with happiness right way and I went to make her food.

Joining me in the kitchen, she came to help out and began to slice onions while dancing to the music I was playing.
Moving her body slowly and accurately to the beat, I was tempted and went ahead to dance with her.

I grabbed her waist and drew her towards me for a kiss but she refused.
The mood got ruined and I asked her why she has never kissed me before.

She said that she can never go contrary or fall into sin. Her spirituality began to piss me off and I told her all her friends are already into this and enjoying the pleasures of sex.

I persuaded her and told her what she was missing out.
She still resisted and told me she would go home if I continue.

At this point, my hormones were aroused and I was not myself. 

I went ahead and kissed her while she was still talking.

There was silence in the room and I waited for her response.
She did not react but stared at me in a weird manner as though she was thinking of her next line of action.

I went ahead and kissed her again while I whispered into her ears, “Babe, it is just me and you, you will have a good time”.
I kissed her again and there was no resistance.
It got deeper and deeper since it was her first time, it was a mind-blowing experience.

I began to take off her clothing but she refused saying I was going too far.

I pecked her fore-head and told her everything will be alright. I begged her to agree as she will enjoy all the pleasure.
She told me that she is doing it just for me and it will never happen again.

With an evil excited smile on my face, I knew I had won this battle.
I took off her gown and began to fiddle with her body and she was moved beyond measure.
Her body was clutched to mine when we were interrupted by a loud sound outside.

So I rushed to check what just happened.
It was an accident. A car that was driving suddenly collided into a building and the contents in the truck came crashing down.

The driver was nowhere to be found. He just disappeared into thin air leaving behind his clothing.

Immediately, I heard screams opposite my apartment. A woman was screaming as though she was going insane.
Some group of men held her and asked her what was going on.

At that moment, Diana had dressed up and came outside to see what was happening too. 

She said she was scolding her son and all of a sudden, he disappeared into thin air.
I thought he ran or something but he vanished right before her eyes leaving his clothing behind too.

People began to wail as people were incomplete and only one thing was obvious.


The RAPTURE had taken place. People were absent and yet their clothing were present at the last spot they were situated.

Pandemonium broke out and everyone went into tears. I fell to the ground while I thought of the last thing I had done. 

I attempted to have sex and romance with Diana.

Innocent Diana.
With a single move, I ruined eternity for her. She was rolling uncontrollably on the floor and cursing me bitterly. Her brain could not fathom what just took place.

I wanted to console her but what was the use?
She was shivering uncontrollably and kept on screaming, “God, please I am sorry”.

She stared at me and I saw pain in her eyes, she tore her clothing and fell to the ground while cursing me.
I made her miss out salvation, what she had been building from her childhood.
Since I came into her life, things have been a mess.


I cried to the heavens and to God but I knew my prayers headed nowhere.
I begged and apologized to Diana but everything fell on deaf ears.


Within the twinkle of an eye, some creatures arose from every angle grabbing anyone they saw.
They were so swift and had a trail of darkness following them.

 

I ran into my apartment leaving Diana outside.
While I locked the door and went into the kitchen arming myself with a knife.

I kept silent so I will not be noticed. But the walls in my house began to vibrate and looked kind of moist as I saw a creature literally pass through my wall.

I threw the knife at it with all the force I had.
But nothing happened as the creature was unharmed, it had the face and skull of a man and the structure of a demon.
Some with horns and a terrifying set of claws. 

It was huge, muscular and fierce. I shivered and was almost out of breath.
It looked at me and asked me, “Do you want the mark of the Beast?” with blood dripping out of its mouth.
I shouted “Never" as I jumped up and attempted to outrun it.

It appeared in my front and grabbed me by the throat, sending its claws deep into my throat.
The pain was unending and violent.

I was bleeding profusely as it began to drag me towards a certain location where other creatures were chanting and bowing towards a huge beast. 

The skies were turning gray and black.
Airplanes fell from the sky. Buildings destroyed and humans picked and dragged like ants.
I was doomed but I felt a different and strong type of guilt.

Though I deserve to be damned forever, Diana does not deserve it.
I dragged her in due to my selfish desires and it hurts so badly.
The Great Tribulation had begun and I was not saved.
All these was just a preamble of spending eternity in the lake of fire. 

Nothing made sense anymore;
The expensive cars, the phones, the clothing.
Everyone was a wreck.

As I said at the beginning of this ordeal, one pain supersedes all pain.
The pain of losing salvation and making someone miss theirs too.
There is no remedy and no fix.
